Roles and Definitions

Lead
This person sets the curriculum integration plan with the college or department and makes sure it is running smoothly. The lead is involved in all planning meetings as well as key faculty, dean, or director meetings. Overall direction and final approval of advising sheets are also this person’s responsibility.

Liaison
This person is the direct contact for the faculty and advisers within the college or department. The liaison manages the reports, information about the college or department, day-to-day issues, and the implementation of the advising sheets. The liaison works with departments to move curriculum integration forward, e.g., helping department identify learning outcomes, selecting study abroad programs for the major advising sheets, potentially helping with research on study abroad options for the major, writing entries for major advising sheets, etc. This person assists in college or department specific promotional activity as well.
