One of the hallmarks of the Curriculum Integration effort is the development in each department or program of a Study Abroad Major Advising Sheet (SAMAS). The SAMAS is a tool for advising students, and it also serves as a vehicle for tracking department perspectives on international experiences.
It takes time and perseverance to develop a SAMAS which reflects the values and interests of your department, and this process often helps inform other components of curriculum integration, where departments insert or revise study abroad copy in their undergraduate handbooks, websites, and other materials, for example, or to begin developing a database on transfer credit precedents and/or course equivalencies, or to develop ongoing faculty and adviser in-service training systems concerning study abroad.

materials.
One of the guiding principles of Study Abroad Curriculum Integration on this campus is that each of our interactions is an opportunity to learn. We have developed a model that seems to work well, but we are willing to modify it to make it work better for you.
