Who are we?

This national initiative was established in 2003 with the goal of creating opportunities for mid-career education abroad professionals to identify and network with each other in order to create a cohort. Meetings focus on facilitated discussion or information relevant to the issues and challenges shared by those in the group. The creation of an identifiable cohort has also raised awareness and allowed mid-career professionals to advocate as a group.

Members are self-identified, but should have 5+ years of experience in the field of education abroad and a long term commitment to international education.

While the group maintains close ties with NAFSA and The Forum on Education Abroad, it is an independent entity not requiring official membership in any organization for participation.
