STUDY ABROAD ENROLLMENT STATISTICS
The Learning Abroad Center is pleased to announce that study abroad enrollments are continuing to increase at the University of Minnesota. During 2006-7, 2217 undergraduate and graduate students studied abroad up from 1981 in 2005-6. For the complete breakdown of study abroad enrollments
2008-2009 STUDY ABROAD CURRICULUM INTEGRATION SITE VISITS
The 2008-2009 study abroad Curriculum Integration site visits will be announced by early March this year. Watch your email or go to link for more information and dates and locations.
SCHOLARSHIP SELECTION COMMITTEE
The Learning Abroad Center is seeking volunteers interested in participating on a Scholarship Selection Committee for May session 2008, Summer session 2008, Fall semester 2008 and Academic year 2008-2009 Study Abroad Programs. The commitment is about 3-4 hours of time that involves reading and evaluating essays. Participating on a scholarship committee is an exciting way to assist students in reaching their study abroad goals. Please contact LeAnne Mfalingundi at or 625-8333 if you are interested in participating on a committee.
Workshops
REMINDER
The Study Abroad Curriculum Integration Sustainability Workshop will be Friday, February 22, 2008 from 9 am–1 pm at the McNamara Alumni. The workshop is full. If you have registered, an email will be sent with details.
